Ron and Jeanine Wiley have worked their entire career in the non-profit sector, and the past 30 years with Resource Exchange International, Inc. (REI, Inc.). Ron and Jeanine are currently the Central Asia Director and Associate Director for REI, Inc. Within that role, Ron is Associate Professor of International Relations at Kazakh-American Free University, in Ust-Kamenorsk, Kazakhstan, and International Faculty Recruitment Coordinator and Professor at Samarkand International University of Technology, in Samarkand, Uzbekistan. In his role as Central Asia Director, Ron initiates partnerships for REI, Inc. staff and volunteers to engage with their Central Asian counterparts in “Building People to Build Nations,” by partnering with governments and institutions to holistically train trainers for the strategic sectors of their emerging nations.
Ron has a B.S. (Bio-Agricultural Science), M.S. (Plant Genetics & Breeding), M.A. (Organizational Leadership), and PhD (Conflict Analysis & Resolution). He is passionate "to extend to others the gift of relational reconciliation so that together we can build a more just and peaceful world." Jeanine has a B.S. and M.S. (Food Science & Nutrition), and an M.A. (Organizational Leadership). They are both trained and certified restorative justice facilitators, and "When Cultures Meet" certified trainers.
Ron and Jeanine have four adult children and one grandson, and divide their time between Central Asia and Pueblo, Colorado, near where Ron’s ancestors homesteaded, and where family members continue active farm and ranch operations.
