Hello! My name is Esther "Essie" De Velasco. Since making the most important decision of my life, my desire has been to live abroad and serve the needs of those in that community. Four years ago, I began having opportunity summer after summer to get a taste for this. I've ended up in multiple countries and two different continents learning what this style of life may look like long term.

My heart has always been for Asia and yet I've never had the opportunity to go quite that far until now. And not only one opportunity but two!

As a college student studying civil engineering I have been excited to see how my studies could be used to serve overseas. These two trips are focused on such by interning at a college, and with teams of hydraulics and agricultural engineers.
