This summer I will be setting off to Uzbekistan to serve with Resource Exchange International (REI)!  I will be joining an internship program at the Samarkand International University of Technology (SIUT) and helping to tutor university students there.  As a part of the program, I will be accompanying other students to energy production plants (hydroelectric dams, solar farms, potentially oil fields) and receiving some hands-on training to prepare for future career work.

Overall I am really excited to participate in this opportunity and be able to see and experience all that Uzbekistan has to offer (including the good food!) and attempt to learn some of the Uzbek language along the way!  Any and all support is greatly appreciated and I look forward to telling you all about it!
